TIME AND CHANCE
There is a race we run—
on earth,
our transitory land.
From birth to death,
we pass through many phases
each carrying its own surprises:
the ebbs and flows.
Sit by the window
and ask the clouds what's rightfully next,
they're mysteries.
Any one thing can strike.
But until darkness befalls life,
the clock tickles,
time keeps walking to the end,
chances emerge
to allow you sow the good seeds,
make a memorable garden of life,
take delight in its fruits,
serve posterity
with lessons and
leave them with abundance.
Chances pass but once
"Time wasted is life abused" Maybe life is knowing time
and arresting chance.
