LET MY HEART QUILL
There is a carrier that carries over and above what the sight can behold,
A room that stocks them up for what's untold.
It grows both pains and love.
It can be for ages
and will never be revealed.
Yet today,
I choose to let my heart quill:
All the love I've grown for you,
likewise the agonies others caused that I hid and deliberately wouldn't let go.
Today, I write in plain words on this white sheet;
Hear my heart call for all the love letters of the alphabet just to let you know how bad I've
cherished you—
Never said it, but it lied hid at the safest place.
And to those who rode us on the wheels of agony,
I also let my heart quill all of its griefs for once
so that healing can begin
'Self' needs freedom from the cage of unforgiveness.
Let this last tear drop wipe away all the pains.
Let my heart quill completely,
Such that no besetting pain is left beneath the covers to dwell upon
And no piece of love in my treasury chest is hidden from you.
