WHAT'S YOUR LOVE'S WEIGHT

 For what shall you say 

If my wordings all the time are 

"I love you" but their rightful deeds are

 pounded into the ground?

Obviously, my words will retire.

Often, we choose to live behind the covers 

of love and butter people up,

leaving true love to take the matters of itself.

What's the weight of your love

if all the good done, the loyalty made manifest, 

Friendship kept, and all of their gentle love effects—

on you all this while are only given a wink in this Christmastide?

What's its weight if you fail to count your lucky stars?

The warming words in texts, calls, deep smile,

little box of gift wrapped, 

C'mon, will add beauty to day as they 

send sparkles of love all around

And prove love reciprocity.

What's your love's weight today?

Maybe last year, you downweighed it,

howbeit, would want to do better today.
